What We Do Different
Some recruiters approach hiring EAs the same way they would approach hiring a forklift operator. They are focused primarily on finding a decent candidate that can do the outlined requirements of the role according to their underdstanding of it...and then on to the next as fast as possible.

At Empowered EA, we approach it differently. We know the role, not just the hiring manager's interpretation of what an EA does. We know the questions to ask so that expectations are clear. And, we ONLY work on roles that require experienced EAs. We are happy to refer you to a great recruiter if you're looking for any other types of roles.

We know that sometimes it feels risky to look for a new position. We take extra steps to protect the identity of EAs and Execs during the process.

The Match
We don't solely focus on skills and strengths. This is a relationship! There needs to be some good chemistry! Before we even start looking at possible matches, we have important discussions about values, growth opportunities, and boundaries. We ask important questions to make sure that both parties understand what they're signing up for and what is expected of them.

The Follow Up
We foster the relationship! Your start date is not our finish date. We provide onboarding support, check ins, and coaching to make sure that the new partnership is off to a great start. If any course corrections are needed, we provide support to help both EA and Exec show up courageously and ensure they are doing what is in their control to make the partnership successful.
